Tiina Sorvari, Analyst

Tiina has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management and Business and has been working at Vision Hunters  since late 2020.

She has previously been working in logistics, but a few year ago she decided to switch to the administrative side.  Tiina’s notion is that the skills acquired in the fast-paced and rapidly changing logistics field are very essential also in administration.

“Life is like a game of soccer. You need goals. If there are no goals, you cannot win.”

“As an Office Manager my main goal is to ensure that the Vision Hunters’ office operates smoothly and efficiently. I also always try to look beyond my basic daily duties and think about the long-term improvements I can do to make our office an even better place.”

I have always been a very organized and proactive person and like to plan ahead and keep everything in order. For this reason, it was a life-changing experience for me to study and work abroad. Studying logistics in the international city of Rotterdam, working at a remote cattle property in the Australian outback and studying business in the vibrant city of Tokyo, taught me many useful life skills. I learned how to adapt to unexpected situations, be determined but also to show understanding and compassion to other people’s perspectives. Skills that are important both in personal and working life.

Appetite for learning

Nature and environmental issues have always been close to Tiina’s heart. She has and strong appetite for learning new skills and improving her expertise even further in this fast-paced consulting world. Through her work at Vision Hunters, she feels that she can contribute to making a difference by serving clients in the forest industry and energy sector.

“Playing soccer has been a big part of my life, since I was a kid. It is a great team building activity, which has taught me patience as you need to repeat the same practices over and over again. It has tought me the importance of cooperation and teamwork. Champions play as one but together everyone achieves more”: Tiina concludes.
