“Life is like a game of soccer. You need goals. If there are no goals, you cannot win.”
Tiina’s expertise in industrial management and business has given her a keen interest in technical and economic matters, as well as the knowledge to address them. She has spent the most of her work career in the logistics sector. When she first began working at Vision Hunters a few years ago, she found that the abilities she learned in the fast-paced and ever-changing logistics area are highly useful in both administrative and analyst positions.
“I have always been a highly organized and proactive person and like to plan ahead and keep everything in order. For this reason, it was a life-changing experience for me to study and work abroad. Studying logistics in the international city of Rotterdam, working at a remote cattle property in the Australian outback and studying business in the vibrant city of Tokyo, taught me many useful life skills. I learned how to adapt to unexpected situations, be determined but also to show understanding and compassion to other people’s perspectives. Skills that are important both in personal and working life.”
Appetite for learning
Nature and environmental issues have always been close to Tiina’s heart. She has and strong appetite for learning new skills and improving her expertise even further in this fast-paced consulting world. Through her work at Vision Hunters, she feels that she can contribute to making a difference by serving clients in the forest industry and energy sector.
“Playing soccer has been a big part of my life, since I was a kid. It is a great team building activity, which has taught me patience as you need to repeat the same practices over and over again. It has tought me the importance of cooperation and teamwork. Champions play as one but together everyone achieves more”: Tiina concludes.
